Do Puggle make good pets?
That question couldn't possibly be answered having an unequivocal yes or no. The reason for which is simple, certain people or family members need certain pets. That query comes with 100′s of mini-questions, various for each individual. Are Puggles great with children, Do Puggels require a lot of room, how big do Puggles get, and so on.
Obviously I actually couldn't possibly answer all of those query, however , I have four Puggles associated with my own, so I can at least provide my honest opinion of Puggle positives and Puggle negatives.
First, the positives, in my opinion, these are the cutest dogs on the planet and they could be playful, and affectionate in the ideal amounts. They love to cuddle, and they are great at making you feel adored. They have a very tolerant temperament that makes them great with children associated with any age. They grow to some very moderate size and actually can be found in a smaller version known as a "Pocket Puggle".
Now the negatives, these are very needy little dogs. They require a whole lot of attention and their particular fair share of exercise. Personally, i have not had this problem, but I possess heard of people having a hard time obtaining them completely trained. Also, they may a pretty new Hybrid-Type breed therefore there isn't a wealth of Puggle info out there.
A side take note, because this is a new breed, you should think about a pretty high level of care for Puggles. Most dog owners and future pet owners don't realize how important a dogs diet plan is. Believe it or not there is a ton associated with "Dog Food Dangers" out there, so when dealing with a dog that has such a brief existence, it's better to play this safe and keep them on a high quality diet.
The only downsides I can think of have to do with their brief history. They are readily available, but a genuine Puggle is the result of a Pug male bred to a Beagle women. I think we're starting to see a large amount of Puggle to Puggle puppies on the market as they become more and more popular.
If your in the market for a Puggle or a Puggle puppy, you should try to obtain one from a reputable breeder. In order to make sure your getting a Puggle thats a consequence of a Pug breeding a Beagle I'll tell you a little trick. Many Puggle to Puggle liters may have a lot more diversity than a Pug to some Beagle litter. Ask to see liter-mates, when there's Fawn, Black, By-& -Tri-colors all in the same litter box, thats usually a dead hand out, usually. The color diversity is NOT a precise science in determining the parents.
